Quick Bio:  While I claim Austin as my hometown, I am a full-blooded military brat, meaning I was lucky enough to grow up all over. I received a BS in Biology from Southwest Texas State University then an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Connecticut then headed back to Texas to run a microbiology lab for ten years.  In that time, I became a triathlon coach, competitive mountain biker, and studied for my MS in Kinesiology before loading up my bikes and dogs to head to the mountains of Idaho and experiencing snow for the first time.  I  worked for a number of years to build and produce Rebecca's Private Idaho gravel bike race as well as a number of other cycling-based events and experiences.  I am a paid-on-call/part-time firefighter and EMT in the Wood River Valley and spend time both in the valley and Pocatello, where my husband is a full-time member of the Pocatello Fire Department.

I love everything about logistics and planning of events but most of all, I feel lucky to give participants top-quality and unique experiences at each event.

Most three-year-olds can ski better than me and I'm relatively okay with that.
